Great place to get information on your Texas adventure. The bathrooms are nice and clean, but could use taller bathroom stalls. Not sure I've ever been in a stall where I could make eye contact with the person next to me.
Easily accessible from west bound Interstate 10. Plenty of parking for both cars and big trucks. This location offers vending machines, covered picnic areas, site-seer's walk way, and restrooms. The staff is friendly and helpful to offer information about where to go and what to do while on vacation. The welcome center is clean, well organized, and offers an in depth selection of information pamphlets.
Always clean and great place to stretch your feet for a bit. This is a must stop every time I'm heading in to Houston from Louisiana. Great place for the kids to see the marshland on the walking trail out back and parents to grab brochures on where to go while visiting the GREAT State of TEXAS!
Really cool walkways into the swamplands. Great photo ops. Clean restrooms. Helpful, friendly staff. Very enjoyable stop.
This was a wonderful experience. We stopped to allow our 7- yr old and 6-yr old granddaughters to stretch and learn about Texas. Staff went out of their way to help and welcome us. Well worth the 20 minutes.
