I am a former student of St. Marys Catholic School. I attend St. Marys from Pre-k 3 to 4th grade. I can still remember the way I was treated by my pupils. If you do not come from money children who attend this school will let you know this fact.
I am currently in the Seventh grade at this school. I have came here since the second grade and the teacher I have had are the best. The grade level you learn is a level above your grade. This is a really wonderful school is very small and all the students here get along.
I am a mother of three and have had children attending St. Mary Catholic School for the past 10 consecutive years. Two of my children currently attend and one has now moved on to High School. I would strongly encourage anyone comparing educational options for their elementary and middle school aged children (in the Orange County Texas area) to visit St. Mary Catholic School. Small classes, an advanced curriculum, and a disciplined but caring environment are just some of the things I appreciate about this school. Most importantly, I like knowing that my children begin each day gathered together in prayer, and that throughout the day, the values, manners, and expectations that we have for them at home are reinforced and expected at school by their teachers and their fellow classmates. This is an old fashioned school that has been getting GOOD old fashioned results since 1924. The teachers are dedicated. The parents are involved. The students are expected to achieve and so THEY DO.
My older sister Jessica also attended this school until she graduated her 8th grade year. Unfortunaley she was treated alot worse than me, and also by her teachers, not just students. Her experience at this school will be something she will never forget, if only it could have been an experience worth remembering.
Let this be a lesson for you! Change the way you treat your children your going to be a "Catholic" school start treating you students the way Jesus treated his. Stop letting money be the reason why you don't defend a child who is being hurt by others. Greed will get you no where in this life, and this school already has a bad name.

I now have a neice that attends St. Marys and it has come to my attention that she hsd also been treated poorly by fellow students and teachers. This is obviously the way things work in this system they call a school. Your handbook says, and I quote, "Develop healthy self-esteem based on a realistic understanding of self." Wow, that sounds wonderful, now if only you could put into effect you own words. My neice my not be inoccent, and I never said she was, however when a parent comes to you and explains to you a problem that is occouring in your in "Catholic" school you would think affermative action would be taken, but just like when me and my sister attended school here none was taken. Just mearly brushed aside like nothing had happened.
